Reel Mower Sharpening Kit Overdue

The tool library’s kit includes an 11/16th inch deep socket with a drill adapter that can be used with an electric drill in place of the handle included in the original kit (see step 4 in the included instructions). This handy-dandy option makes the whole experience more fun and efficient!

The socket fits over the reel shaft and pawl. Make sure the pawl does not fall out of the slot in the reel shaft. 

You can then use the drill with the socket installed to turn the reel for a minute or two instead of turning the manual handle for 7-10 minutes (see step 6 in the included instructions).
