Screw Extractor Set In Stock Now

Use in an impact driver or drill to remove damaged screws. Patience is key! Set drill or impact driver to reverse direction. Use cutter end of bit first. Drill into screw head in reverse slowly for about a minute. Switch bit to cone shaped end and continue drilling n reverse, slowly, until bit grabs screw and backs it out. If cone shaped end doesn’t seem to be gripping the screw head, repeat, starting with cutter end again.

For removing stripped or damaged screws with a drill set in reverse mode. See this great instructional video:

Tips:

- Set the drill to operate in reverse (counterclockwise) direction

- Select a bit that is smaller than the screw head

- Use the cutting side of the bit first

- Slowly drill into the center of the screw until the hole is about 1/16 of an inch deep

- Flip the bit to use the cone-shaped side

Slowly drill into the hole while pushing down on the back of the drill.

- You should feel the bit grabbing onto the screw head. If it does not, flip the bit back to the cutting tip and repeat the steps above
